spectra

21–24 June

You loved Ryoji Ikeda’s spectra [tasmania] at our first Dark Mofo. We all did. Now, on the winter solstice, join us in Mona’s grounds for its return: a towering pillar of light reaching into the night sky. Its virgin ascension in Berriedale heralds the artwork’s permanent new home at Mona.

To mark the occasion, Striborg will unleash four nights of blackwave-inspired electronics with the Australian Art Orchestra, from 6–7pm nightly. There'll also be plenty of hot food and drink available across the site. Ferries will shuttle you to and from the museum throughout the evening.

Thursday 21–Sunday 24 June, from sunset to sunrise
